ROUGE EST UNE COULEUR FROIDE, a new creation by Sarah Baltzinger and Guillaume Jullien, is a multi-faceted artistic object inviting choreographic creation, musical performance and visual arts to the stage.

Conceived as an allegory of the living, this creation is an ode to the double that hides in each of us and draws its inspiration from folklore, the LGBTQ+ movement, and the party in resonance with our modern times. Questioning the color red and its different representations, this creation evokes the process of identity transition and the ambivalence that exists in each of us.
This new choreographic object takes the form of a quartet of dancers accompanied by a musical performance, all thought out in a singular relationship of dialogue with the public, in a bi-frontal device. Through different attempts of bestiality, monstrosity and deformation, the bodies play with mechanics and gestures that show a certain strangeness.
A spontaneous, horizontal and joyful gesture shared between all the artists of this creation, RED IS A COLD COLOR is the third part of a research around heritage.
