Sarah Baltzinger

Sarah Baltzinger begins contemporary dance at the age of 18. Very quickly imbued with a strong movement, she starts her career a year later within Compagnie Totum (FR), with whom she collaborates for several years. In 2010, she moves in Spain to train with the Cobos Mika training. There, she collaborates with various choreographers : Jordi Cortes (ES), Elena Fokina (Ultima Vez, BE), Olga Cobos (ES), Peter Mika (ES/SK) and Corinne Lanselle (FR), Russell Malliphant (UK).

In 2010 she joined Peter Milka’s young ballet in Girona. In 2011, she joined the Company
CobosMika for the creation WISH as cover. She also works with choreographer Laura Vilar in Barcelona for the creation TATLIN’S TOWER. In 2013, Sarah Baltzinger dances for French choreographer Corinne Lanselle in Paris in the dance-theater creation NON-STOP, while teaching dance in France, Luxembourg and Spain.

In 2014 she danced in Bernard Baumgarten’s RAIN, artistic director of Unit Control Company and TROIS C-L. Subsequently, she joined the Helka Company, led by Helder Seabra (assistant to Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Wim Vandekeybus) for the creation of WHEN THE BIRDS FLY LOW, THE WIND WILL BLOW (2014). She also joined the London-based Wayne Parsons Dance Company in 2017 to create VESTIGE. Since 2016, she is a choreographing and performing and she creates three shows WHITE BEAST (2016), FURY (2017).

She is selected to be part as Talent Lab 2018 where she creates WHAT DOES NOT BELONG TO US and has the opportunity to collaborates with the famous Peeping Tom Company and their choreographers Franck Chartier and Gabriella Carrizo. In January 2020, Sarah will present her new piece, DON’T YOU SEE IT COMING, a solo based on the tale « Barbe Bleue », from Charles Perrault. She also gives master class for professional dancers in different choreographic institutions (Trois C-L, Les Rendez-Vous Parisiens, Conservatories)
