FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR A CHOREOGRAPHIC PROJECT IN 2022

Applications for financial support for new choreographic projects in 2021 are now open !
This financial help was introduced by TROIS C-L as part of its mission to support professional choreographers and dancers in Luxembourg developing their artistic projects. Its objective is, on one hand, to support independent choreographic creations providing added-value to the national cultural heritage, and, on the other hand, to spread Luxembourg’s culture abroad.

Three types of financial support can be requested: financial support for a new creation (I), financial support for bringing a piece back on stage (II), financial support for a research project (III).In parallel, the TROIS C-L is also setting up the program “Les Nouveaux.elles Créateurs.rices”.

The procedure is aimed at artistic teams that are based in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and engaged in the national artistic and cultural scene.

The teams, hereafter referred to as project leader, are:
– either independent
– or, non-profit organisations with no long-term agreement with the Ministry of Culture.

Financial support for cast changing

The financial support for cast changing was introduced by TROIS C-L with the mission of supporting the choreographic creation from Luxembourg and its development both at a national and an international level.

Its purpose is to compensate for the need for a cast change imposed by an imponderable emergency. This help aims to finance rehearsals due to the replacement of a dancer at the very last minute in a case of emergency.

The financial support for cast changing is intended for artistic teams:

– either independent
– or, non-profit organisations with no long-term agreement with the Ministry of Culture.

The financial support for cast changing is made for artistic teams living on the territory of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and demonstrating a commitment to the national arts and culture scene for at least two years.

The financial support for cast changing is one-off aid, granted for the takeover of a role or a handover in a specific project in the field of contemporary dance for one or more performances.
