After completing his piano studies at the Conservatorio “G. Verdi” Conservatory in Turin (I), Gianfranco studied contemporary dance at the “Folkwang” College in Essen (D) and at the “Accademia Isola Danza” in Venice under Carolyn Carlson. In 1999 he was awarded a scholarship for the “Dance WEB” training programme in Vienna.
He has worked with Les Ballet C. de la B. (B), Unit.Control (L), Arazzo Tanztheater (D) and others. Since 2002 he has been developing his own choreographic language. Since 2014 he has been teaching Contact Improvisation in Luxembourg.
