Put two choreographers, a dancer, a painter and two video artists in a museum and let it brew! The ChoreoChroma project is a laboratory between different media and artistic visions, taking as its starting point the painting Déjeuner sur l’Herbe by major Serbian modern artist Sava Sumanovic. Encouraged by the two European Capitals of Culture, Esch and Novi Sad, the collaborative project has developed into a creative and cultural exchange project, exploring the links between live performance and painting. The final performance is the fruit of multimedia research, combining dance, painting, video, music and photography, questioning their relationship to time and space, their respective differences and similarities, to enable a common form of expression to emerge. A multi-dimensional experience, a choreographic performance that is at once sensory, auditory and visual.
